The 2016 Turn Copper into Gold was another great success for the Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce. This event is the Chamber’s primary annual -fund raiser.The funds raised go to support the building owned and operated by the Chamber. In recent years the monies have enable the chamber to pay of the mortgage and complete some much needed renovations. But money isn’t the only reason for this event; it is a great opportunity for members to get out of their business, network with other business owners and have some fun before the madness of summer is upon them.
The CVCC Board of Directors would like to thank all the sponsors, donors and players for making this 14th Annual event such a success. The approximately $24,000 raised (all the bills are not in yet) will go towards beautifying the outside of the building making the location more attractive to passing motorists with the goal to entice them to stop so that staff can encourage them to spend more time in the Columbia Valley.
