Nomination Process
Nominations are received from the communities of the Columbia Valley. An impartial committee counts all nominations which are then short-listed and evaluated by a point system based on criteria listed for each award. The finalists in each category may be contacted for additional information regarding their nomination and business.
A selection committee, which does not involve any nominated persons or business, reviews all information on the finalists. Recommendations are submitted to the final non-partisan selection committee and a winner is chosen. The name is entered on a secret ballot, which is then sealed until the Business Awards evening. All finalists are contacted and encouraged to attend the dinner with their co-workers.

- Each category explains the criteria that must be met for an Individual or Business to be nominated.
- Fill in the Name of the Individual or Business and write a brief explanation for your reasons why.
